Choosing your FiveM community
Read the city’s roleplay expectations, application process, and voice requirements. Compare economy rules, available roles, and the time commitment before picking a community.
- Roleplay style: compare serious, relaxed, or themed cities and read the rules for character conduct, conflict, and out-of-character communication.
- Entry requirements: check whitelist applications, age policies, voice setup, and whether a staff interview or character backstory is required.
- City life: review jobs, businesses, emergency services, and progression rules to understand what your regular play sessions could involve.
List your community on VoteLadder
- Create an owner account, open the server dashboard, and choose FiveM when adding your listing.
- Provide your FiveM hostname and connection port, then identify the roleplay style in server type and tags. Use the description for whitelist steps, voice expectations, and economy rules. Add your community website or Discord so players can complete the application process.
- Save your listing, review its details in the dashboard, and keep joining instructions and community links up to date.
Voting and integrations
FiveM listings support plugin polling and signed webhooks for owner-configured integrations. Explain any vote rewards alongside your city rules and configure compatible server-side handling before enabling them.
Players can vote from a public server profile. Check that community’s reward rules separately; a confirmed vote is not a guarantee of an in-game reward.
Ranking signals
How VoteLadder Compares FiveM Servers
VoteLadder is built to help players compare FiveM servers by signals that matter before joining: reachability, player activity when available, votes, reviews, tags, and owner-provided community links.
Live status and uptime
Status checks can show whether a listed server is online, how recently it was checked, latency, and uptime samples once enough checks have run.
Measured player activity
When a game probe supports it, player counts come from VoteLadder status checks rather than owner-written listing copy.
Votes and moderated reviews
Votes, monthly vote movement, and approved player reviews help separate active communities from listings that only look busy.
Tags, links, and trust signals
Tags, join addresses, owner links, and trust signals make it easier to scan for the server style and community details players care about.
